In July 2020 group of young people from different countries living, studying and working in Vienna participated in International city clean-up hike from Nußdorf to Leopoldsberg. The hike has started in Nussdorf, which is the suburb of Vienna. On the way up we have seen many viewpoints overlooking the city. We have continued to go around the hill and had a chance to see some historical monuments like St. Joseph’s church or bust of Empress Elisabeth. Kahlenberg is a small hill on the outskirts of Vienna, which stands 484-metres tall and is located in the heart of the Viennese Woods. Kahlenberg is known as the best place to see Vienna from the top, which is why many people drive up. It was an easy trail for families, not too steep. On half way there was a water fountain to recharge our water-supply and some nice picnic places, which we have cleaned. The rest of the hike was accompanied by beautiful views and vineyards. Hike has finished back at the starting point in Nussdorf.
